(Photo by Achadtaya Chuenniran)PHUKET - The Anti-Money Laundering Office (Amlo) has began auctioning off assets seized from an illegal Chinese tour operator, with boats and buses fetching a total of 108 million baht in the first two days. At the end of the second day, 35 boats and 44 coaches had fetched a total 108 million baht. Authorities said 17 companies formed Tranlee’s network, operating tourism-related businesses such as hotels, tour buses, ferries, restaurants and souvenir shops. They reaped 71.53 million baht.
